Currently there are approximately 1.5 Billion Muslims in the world many of whom have never even talked to a Christian let alone read a Bible. Many today are wondering how Christians should interact with them in our increasingly globalized world.

In this episode Pastor Daniel Royo takes us on a study into the origins of Islam in biblical history and how the providence of God was at work using the other children of Abraham to help some of the most well-known heroes of the Bible and the Protestant Reformation (Joseph, Moses, Jesus, Paul, and Luther) in their greatest hour of need. He also shares some practical insights into what this pattern may mean for Christians who are standing for truth in the midst of persecution from other Christians in the last days.

I can still remember where I was at on September 11, 2001.  At the time I was serving as a volunteer student missionary in the Marshall Islands as and 8thgrade elementary teacher on the Island of Ebeye.

We didn’t have internet in our rooms and no one had a TV except the principle – when we woke up that morning (technically for us September 12) he called us all into his apartment and there on the screen were the burning towers.

Intuitively I knew right then and there that my country and our world would never be the same again.

Of course, radical Islam was to blame for the attacks and ever since my country, the United States of America, has been carrying out military operations in the Middle East. Some have even called it a Holy War between the religion of Islam and the Christian West – but is that a true caricature of Islam.

No doubt radical Islam has incited terror and violence all over the world, but Is the religion really antichrist as some would have us to believe?  Is the religion and the ancestors of its adherents always against God and his people or should we be looking at them from a more nuanced perspective?
